What is SCPKU?
A unique opportunity to conduct research and teach in China
The Stanford Center at Peking University (SCPKU) is Stanford’s hub in Beijing for faculty and students to advance research, teaching, and learning on China and global issues. SCPKU hosts academic programs, conferences, workshops, and seminars that foster interdisciplinary collaboration and innovation.
What are the benefits of being an SCPKU Faculty or Pre-Doc Fellow?
1. Your award can be used to support a variety of activities, including research and writing, archival research, fieldwork, and collaboration with Chinese partners on existing research projects across many different disciplines.
2. Access to SCPKU's facilities, resources, and network of partners in China.
3. Opportunity to engage with Peking University faculty and students, as well as other scholars and experts in China.
Who is eligible to apply?
All Stanford pre-doc and faculty members with continuing appointments are eligible to apply, regardless of discipline or school. Preference will be given to pre-docs or faculty who have not previously participated in the fellowship program.
