Ann Bennett Spence

Ann Bennett Spence (Bian An) was a Managing Director, Cambridge Associates LLC, the global investment firm based in Boston. Previously she was an associate dean (finance) at Harvard, a strategy consultant at Bain & Company, and an auditor at KPMG. She has degrees from Wellesley College (BA Economics), Harvard (MA East Asian Studies), and Stanford (MBA). She is a daughter of Zhou Nianci, who graduated from Yanjing University (now Peking University) in 1938. She is also the eldest granddaughter of Liang Sishun, and eldest great-grandchild of Liang Qichao. Having spent her early childhood in China, [Ann] now frequently studies her first language Chinese/Putonghua and writes in English under the pen name of Bian An, which was her given name at birth.
